So I guess the wind blew a bit my way. We were percussion grenaded, we were flash bang grenaded and we were smoke bombed. The paw is one of my clinics.... the NO! symbol is the Xcel Energy Center where the RNC is being held. That is 1.5 miles between the 2 of them. This was lastnight outside the RNC.... Trafic to work yesterday was a joy. Ok get out of my town now if for no other reason than to make my commute decent again. There were a lot of sirens racing down University and Marion Last night.... we had 2 clients. People were just staying away... "You are down there? Oh, is there anywhere else that isn't in downtown?" On my drive home I drove past the police staging area... lots of National Guard on ATVs in urban cammo, lots of K9 units (they were actually out with flashlights patrolling the streets), I hope we don't get those into the ER (!), lots of guys in riot gear... this was at 11pm - well after the homemade bombs had gone off and people had been flash bombed and tear gassed..... EDIT: They have horses down there... where they are releasing tear gas.... I don't think I like that. I really wish they wouldn't use horses in situations like that. I'm going down there on Thursday.

Some of the artists we saw were The Church, The Cars, Neneh Cherry, Cinderella, Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, A ludicrous amount of Cheap Trick come Cher and lastly Chicago..... This video specifically... We made a discovery while watching this video.... you will notice that Mr. Peter Cetera is wearing a Bauhaus t-shirt..a Bela Legosi is Dead t-shirt to be specific. At bout 9 seconds it pops into view under that dashing rolled up sleeve sport coat of his. So, Um, Mr Soft Rock and Donnie Wahlberg both wore Bauhaus t-shirts in their videos.. are video costumers just handing those babys out or what?
